Ramsey Karim

I am a finishing Ph.D. student in the Astronomy Department at the University of Maryland, College Park. Originally from Sacramento, CA, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Physics and Astrophysics at the University of California, Berkeley. My Master's work under Prof. Lee Mundy here at Maryland focused on molecular clouds in the interstellar medium.

I am currently working with Xander Tielens and Marc Pound on feedback from high-mass stars and how efficiently that energy is cycled back into the surrounding interstellar gas. You can find me in my office, ATL 1239, or online at www.ramseykarim.com.
